This 2021 Dronesitter update introduces the synchronization of the web configuration library with multiple aircraft: After connecting to the Betaflight flight controller, you can browse PID, Rates, receivers, Race general settings and VTX Table, and apply the selected configuration to the aircraft after review; commonly used configurations can also be marked as Auto Apply, forming a to-be-processed list when a new aircraft is connected, and then the user clicks Apply All. It improves batch configuration efficiency, but should not replace backup, difference review, and model compatibility judgment.
The configuration library is not a "brainless speedup" button
After logging into the Dashboard and connecting to the aircraft, the recorded version will display the PID/Rates Config entry, and the entries in the library are organized by categories such as PID parameter adjustment, VTX Table, receiver configuration, and Generic. The author demonstrates the Rates shared by community pilots and the search for VTX Tables for transmitters of different brands, eliminating the need to manually copy the CLI.
One-click application only shortens the input steps and does not automatically prove that the parameters are suitable for the current aircraft. PID, filtering and Rates are related to the frame size, power system, firmware target and personal feel; the VTX Table must also correspond to the specific transmitter model and regional regulations. Read the configuration content and applicable conditions before applying, and do not rely solely on the author's name or the "racing parameters" label.
Must synchronize and view changes after application
Connect the video to the flight controller first, then click Apply on the configuration card. After resynchronization, the system detects configuration changes and users can see what has been modified. This sequence of first establishing a baseline, then applying, and then synchronizing is very important: if multiple unrelated changes are mixed together, it will be difficult to locate the cause when a problem occurs.
Remove the propeller before connecting and save a separate diff/all backup of Betaflight, flight control target and firmware version. After the configuration is successfully applied, first check the receiver, mode, motor direction and failsafe in the propeller-disassembled state, and then conduct a short low-risk test flight. Web history cannot replace your own offline backup.
Correct selection of VTX Table
Find VTX Table by searching for brand entries such as RUSH during recording and apply it. The exact model, frequency band, channel, power level and Betaflight version must be checked during actual use, because there may be multiple types of hardware of the same brand, and the regulatory allowed frequencies and powers will also vary from region to region.
After application, enter the Video Transmitter page or use the corresponding command to review the table and confirm that the channel, power mapping and hardware description are consistent. Wrong VTX Table may cause the interface display to be inconsistent with the actual transmission status, so "successful writing" cannot be regarded as "correct configuration".
Managing multiple aircraft with Auto Apply
The author saves commonly used configurations and checks Auto Apply. When a new aircraft is connected, the system lists Pending Configurations that have not yet been applied; clicking Apply All will write one or more selected configurations. This design is suitable for completing the unified basic settings of the team for the new machine, but automation should be understood as a task to be reviewed, rather than silently modifying the machine in the background.
Write a clear name, applicable target, firmware scope and purpose for the configuration, and retain the history after each application. Similar fleets should also verify hardware differences on an aircraft-by-aircraft basis; aircraft with different receiver protocols, VTX models, or motor orientations cannot use the exact same package just because they appear similar. The Premium free one-week activity and permission plan at the time of recording has expired, and the current visibility is subject to the current version.
Operation steps
- Connect to the flight controller and open the configuration library
After disassembling the propeller and saving the backup, connect the correct serial device from Dashboard and enter PID/Rates Config.
- Filter and review configuration entries
Confirm the type of entry, applicable models, firmware and specific commands. Do not blindly select based on the author's name.
- Apply a configuration and resynchronize
After clicking Apply, synchronize the aircraft again and check whether the differences detected by the system are as expected.
- Verify the exact model number of VTX Table
Filter by make and model, review channel and power mapping and local regulations after application.
- Save recognized custom configuration
Save frequently used settings with clear names and scopes, and preserve application history.
- Mark common base items as Auto Apply
After connecting to the new machine, review the Pending Configurations first, and then the user actively clicks Apply All.
- Conducting propeller removal inspection and short test flight
Review receiver, mode, motor direction, failsafe and VTX, then verify in a safe environment.
FAQ
Can the PID of community experts be directly applied to my aircraft?
Should not be applied directly. Frame, power, firmware, and filtering differences will change the safety margin; review commands first, back up, and verify step-by-step under disassembled and low-risk conditions.
Will Apply All automatically determine hardware compatibility for me?
No. It executes configurations to be applied in batches, and the user still needs to check target, receiver, VTX and other hardware differences for each aircraft.
Can VTXs of the same brand share a VTX Table?
Cannot be assumed. The exact model, channel, power level, firmware format and local frequency regulations must be checked.
Can web sync history replace Betaflight backup?
No. Separate diff/all, target and firmware versions should still be saved, especially before applying extensive configuration or upgrading firmware.
Is the Premium free period in the video still valid?
Invalid. That is historical activity one week after the 2021 video was released; current permissions and prices are subject to the current version of the page.

Hello everyone, here is KorankafPV, the founder of DroneSeater. Today he brings you a very exciting new function of DroneSeater, multi-machine configuration synchronization and the configuration sharing of the big guys in the circle. You can apply the big guys’ configuration on the web page with one click. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what kind of function this is. When you log in to the DroneSeater dashboard, you can see that there is an additional pid in this place. What is the ratesconfig button? Now we are not in a hurry to click it. Let's connect to an airplane first. My airplane is already connected to the computer. I click to connect.
After connecting to the aircraft, we open this dialog box. After opening this dialog box, you will see some configurations provided by the system by default, including various types such as PID parameter adjustment, such as VTXTable, receiver configuration, and some other more generic settings such as Race. I put them in Generic. Some configurations are set to Premium.
These Premium configurations will only be visible to paid users in the future, but in order to allow everyone to better experience this new feature, from the release of the video to the next week, these Premium configurations will be free and visible. If useful, you can take them here. Here I will introduce you to a very useful function, which is the configuration application function. After hovering the mouse over this configuration, you will see an Apply button here. For example, here is the Race DVD used by Headsup FPVSIM.
If you look at this Race, it feels good and you want to use it, what should you do? It is very convenient, just click on this ApplyButton. Here, I am not connected to the aircraft, I will connect the aircraft first. After connecting, we only need to click the ApplyButton, and it will automatically apply this configuration to your aircraft, instead of you having to manually pull it out, paste it into the CLI, execute it, and then connect to the aircraft. Here, you can see that it detects that the configuration has changed, right? We can sync it in to see what we have changed.

It can be directly applied to your aircraft. For example, if we are connecting to my aircraft now, it will be different when we detect this Sync, because I have just applied it. Ah, I seem to be able to reach this Limit now, and here, you can also change your configuration. For example, if we say we want to move here, and then click this Edit, then here it is almost the same as create. You can change your configuration. You can set it here to 90, for example.
Then update, the history of this application will be displayed below. For example, we have just applied this to my own aircraft. This history will be displayed. Then we will look at the configuration and change it to 9090. Next, I will introduce to you what this multi-machine automatic configuration application red function is used for. Suppose you found a very useful configuration on the Internet, right? But you have a lot of aircraft that need to be changed. What should we do? We can create a new configuration here.
Then put your newly discovered configuration into it. Then this place is, I named it Auto Snipers. It seems that it doesn’t matter anymore. Then here, there is an Auto Apply checkbox. We check it, and then this is added to this configuration. Then we can see that Auto Apply is Yes, right? At this time, if we connect to an aircraft, it will display a Painting Configuration here.
Then we will see the new Auto Snipers we just added, and there is a button next to it. It is very convenient. You can click Apply All directly and the configuration will be applied. The powerful thing about this function is that you can not only apply one configuration, but you can also add several new configurations and set it to Auto Apply. Then when you connect to the aircraft, if the aircraft has not yet applied this configuration, you can click the Apply All button just now to apply all these configurations.
This is very useful for setting up a new aircraft, because you can set it to Autoply for the configurations you commonly use, and then when the system detects these new aircraft and none of these configurations have been applied, you will click a button and all these configurations will be passed in. OK, then this is a concept of this new feature. During the use of it, if you feel that some parts are not particularly reasonable in design, please leave a message in the comment area or send me a private message.
If you like this function, don’t take your compliments seriously. I really, really need your support. Finally, let’s take a look at what the next video will talk about. I originally planned to talk about some tips and tricks for entrepreneurship machine racing. Then I got 12 likes. I felt this was tepid. Then some friends asked me to start a live broadcast. I don’t know why everyone asked me to start a live broadcast. Is it to read the appearance of my San Francisco Flameless Seat or something like that?
See you in our next video
