How to have Internet While Connected to Timer

On some Mac OSX systems, when connecting to FPVSIM Timer Event hardware, you lose the ability to connect to the Internet through WIFI/Hotspot due to the dfault network priority settings. But you can change that and get Internet access really easily. (Windows should work automatically)

Go to the network settings on Mac OSX. You can either use the preferences menu or use Spotlight search.

Click on the "Set Service Order" after clicking the "..." at the bottom of the settings page.

Drag "WIFI" above the LAN service. This example uses a USB to Ethernet adapter, so it's shown as "USB 10/100/1000 LAN", yours might show differently.

That's it! Now you can access Internet through WIFI while connecting to the FPVSIM Timer at the same time.
